Seat Belts

Office of Road Safety

It is the law in Australia that all vehicle occupants must wear a seat belt at all times, including children. Drivers and passengers travelling unrestrained in a car are 18 times more likely to be killed in a crash than those wearing a seat belt.

If you are travelling with small children you can hire child seats and baby capsules. Reputable car hire companies can provide this service as do the Red Cross and Kidsafe WA. For more information on child restraints. www.childcarrestraints.com.au
